Congratulations on your upcoming wedding date! We at The Discmen share in the excitement surrounding these joyous occasions. Since 1991, we've been helping many happy couples, just like you, get off to a great start by providing, not only the widest variety of music available, but by exceeding your expectations of a disc jockey.

In addition to our role as music providers, we also bring coordination and direction to your wedding event. Prior to your big day, we will have assisted you in planning each appropriate detail of your Wedding Ceremony ( if we're chosen for this event) and Reception, from beginning till end. Therefore, you can relax and enjoy your special day without worry.

As your Disc Jockey and Master-Of-Ceremonies, we will do everything from providing the perfect background music as your guests are arriving, to greeting you and the rest of the Wedding Party at the entrance to the reception facility in preparation for formal introductions.

That's just the beginning! We'll continue to organize and make announcements to insure the smooth flow of traditional elements such as the Best Man's Toast, the Buffet or Sit-down Dinner, the First Dance and other traditional dances, the Cutting of the Cake and finally, the Bouquet and Garter Toss. We do all that and more!

You'll want your reception to be a fun and memorable occasion for all. That's where we continue to excel. You and your guests will find us entertaining, motivating and outgoing- yet in a truly tasteful style- never overdone.

Our music collection is extensive. You won't find a better variety anywhere! We understand that your guest list will include relatives and friends of all ages and backgrounds. Their taste in music will certainly vary. Rest assured that we're prepared to satisfy.

Our compact disc collections include everything from Big Band Swing to Classical, from Oldies to Country, Hip Hop to Modern Rock, Disco to Classic Rock, R & B to Ballroom, Jazz to Old School, Motown to '80s, New Age to Hi-Energy and Christian...We're even equipped with an extensive collection of international music including Latin, Israeli, Greek, French, German... Some say " you can't please all the people all the time." But, it is our goal to do just that! We even take requests.

It takes the efforts of many people and professionals to make your day successful. We at The Discmen understand this and maintain an excellent working relationship with reception facilities, photographers, videographers, caterers and others in the Sacramento and Central Valley areas and beyond to further enhance your event.

Whether your staff consists of 20 or 2000, we've got the music, lights and personality to keep everyone moving! Sure everyone has their individual music preference. Steve likes country, George prefers oldies, Pam goes for modern rock. How do you handle all this? Leave it to us. We'll program just the right mix to keep most of the people dancing most of the time. From regular monthly dances to Proms and Graduations and Sober Grads, we do it all! Since we receive the latest music weekly, just like the local radio stations, students won't complain about the disc jockey not having their requests. These days it's important that music played at dances be age appropriate. Fortunately we are able to screen out music with explicit lyrics and play only the right cuts.

We include a dazzling hi-tech lightshow complete with fog (when allowed) to enhance the dancing experience. For younger class dances, we are prepared to conduct group interactive dances to break the ice. A request chart is provided in advance for student convenience; and requests and dedications can be made at the dance. We are always on time and enjoy a great rapport with students of all ages.

Whether it's a fundraiser, an outdoor benefit, or a black tie dinner, The Discmen is flexible to handle all your needs. We have plenty of power and know the requirements to service large outdoor events such as the Relay for Life. At those black tie events, we know how to be elegant but make the night fun and enjoyable for your guests.

Imagine walking into the room and seeing all of your classmates again, as the music from your class years gently fills the air! We can help create just that atmosphere at your class reunion.

We begin in advance by providing your committee with copies of Billboard's Hot 100 Chart covering your 4 high school years. You and your fellow committee members will enjoy scanning the hits of the past- the music that helped make those years in high school special. Some of this music is great to have in the background as you mingle. And when it's time for dancing later, many selections from high school will even light up the floor today. Can you believe that?

We will also assist with special announcements and make our roving wireless microphone available for anyone else in need.
